Collective Dynamics Lab - Research

The Collective Dynamics research group study the question of how system-level function and phenomena arise from the interplay of parts in a wide variety of systems including:

• Biology
• Engineering
• Social sciences

Our research covers the whole pipeline of insight-creation, involving:

• starting with data-analysis
• agent-based modelling
• mathematical modelling

and conducting model analysis using methods from:

• dynamical systems theory
• statistical physics
• machine learning
• statistics
• network science
